The secret of a successful prayer life is not to spend our time foolishly fretting about storms that surround our ship but, having taken note of the storms, to commit our ship to the great Captain of the seas. It is not the severity of the storm that is important but the capability of the Captain.
Psalm 107:28-29 “They cry out to the Lord in their trouble, and He brings them out of their distresses. He calms the storm, so that its waves are still.”
